Customised lighting projects
Are you looking for illumination for your building in a beautiful design, for shiny elements on a sight location or for a special light wall? Armada Janse is ready to accompany you in the realization of your personal lighting concept.
What is architectural lighting?
With architectural lighting we mean special light designs, designed to visually impress the audience. Special light objects have a magical attraction to employees, customers, people passing by and other public. Light helps you to embellish a building or a square, to connect and make quarters more attractive or creating a socially safer atmosphere for the inhabitants.
Architectural lighting custom made
Custom made is very important as we focus on design an appearance of the lightning.
As a technical designer we ensure that your creative wishes and ideas are translated into a technical well thought and high quality end product. Where wall advertising, illuminated pylons, special light objects, dynamic led coves or public illumination are concerned, Armada Janse provides for an unique appearance with maximum visibility.
Architectural lighting projects of Armada Janse
Armada Janse achieves perceptions in cooperation with designers and customers. An outstanding example is the enchanting effect of the Dutmalatunnel in Eindhoven, made to make it safer, more liveable and more accessible.
The sensors in the tunnel catch the movement energy of the people passing by and activate esthetical proliferation on the ceiling. The installation behaves dynamically and responds to the volume of the people passing by and their speed; in this way it gives identity to an undefined district which fills itself with a permanent stream people, swelling and extinguishing in the rhythm of the day. In a subtle way Transit Mantra influences our feeling of safety because the presence of a predecessor is still glowing and shows a trail of life. Transit Mantra stimulates movement and connects the individuals for a short moment in the collective instrument of the otherwise dark tunnel. A second example of a project realised by Armada Janse is the walking strip at Plein 15, Schiphol. In this walking strip, creative ideas have been translated into a technical achievable product meeting all the clients’ demands. In the design a long lifetime in public space is taken into account without devaluating the wishes of the customer and the designer. The light pillars are made of impact resistant material and easy in maintenance.
